My Dearest Fr. Dorin,

I pray you are doing well. Again I apologize for my absence to you. I have been going through so many struggles and spiritual struggles. I truly am beat up quit a bit. I had started reading your work and then became side tracked and a bit lost.

I am rereading your great work again. I think it is truly wonderful. In my old age I confess I am a slow reader. I am honestly very humbled and honored you dedicated this work to me, a nobody.

I am also astonished about the subject of this work. St. Symeon the New Theologian means much to me. My Spiritual Father, Priestmonk George Maloney ~ Memory Eternal! ~ wrote and preached about this beautiful saint.

I was Christmated with my family in 2004, the parish priest, Fr. Anthony Sola, who also loved this saint gifted me with his icon. I am always amazed at such connections from God. I love you Father, and I treasure our friendship, thanking God always for it.

Pray for me, I suffer much with much on my mind. I search for employment too, I pray God gives me work within the Church realm, for my salvation. I pray you will write other works in English. We need the blessings of your countries blessed spirituality.

Have you thought about a work exploring the deep meaning and spirituality displayed in the life of St. Paraschiva? The wonderful and strange symbolism displayed in her life and after her death through history. Her life is so different then most of God’s saints in many ways.

I pray you might. God Love and Bless you Father and your family. I will write more as I journey into your book. I send you my love and my friendship. As you ask St. Paraschiva to bless me, also ask Blessed Fr. Arsenie Boca to help me, thank you.

My Dear Berney,

I understand people…who have much common sense, much consciousness. And you’re a rare man…because you have a delicate, sensitive, loving consciousness.

Therefore, my first book that I have translated and edited in english, I dedicated it to you.

They are not many informations about Saint Paraskeva…but there are many wonders of her to narrate. I did not write any book about Saint Paraskeva…but I have many others to translate into english. 

You are in my prayers, along with your numerous family, and your friendship fills me with joy.

Se numesc minuscule pentru că sunt scrise cu litere mici și nu doar cu litere mari ca manuscrisele unciale de tipul Codex Vaticanus.

Psalmul 94 conform LXX

1. Lauda cântării lui David. Veniți să ne bucurăm [întru] Domnul [și] să strigăm lui Dumnezeu, Mântuitorului nostru.

2. Să întâmpinăm fața Lui în mărturisire și să-I strigăm Lui în psalmi.

3. Căci Dumnezeu mare [este] Domnul și Împărat mare peste toți dumnezeii.

4. Căci în mâna Lui [sunt] marginile pământului și înălțimile munților sunt ale Lui.

5. Căci a Lui este marea și El a făcut-o pe ea și uscatul l-au zidit mâinile Lui.

6. Veniți să ne închinăm și să cădem înaintea Lui și să plângem înaintea Domnului, a Celui care ne-a făcut pe noi!

7. Căci El este Dumnezeul nostru și noi poporul pășunii Lui și oile mâinii Lui. Astăzi, dacă va să auziți glasul Lui, [acestea vă spune]:

8. „Să nu vă învârtoșați inimile voastre ca în [ziua] amărăciunii, ca în ziua ispitirii în pustie!

9. Unde au fost ispitiți părinții voștri, [unde] au fost cercați și au văzut faptele/ lucrurile Mele.

10. Patruzeci de ani M-am mâniat pe neamul aceluia și am zis: <Întotdeauna [ei] se înșală cu inima>. Și ei nu au cunoscut căile Mele.

11. Căci M-am jurat în urgia Mea: <Dacă[1] vor intra întru odihna Mea>”.

[1] Ca și în alte părți ale Dumnezeieștii Scripturi, conjuncția ei [dacă] are aici sens negativ. Și înseamnă: nu.
